Best Practices for Hyflex Teaching

​While CUNY SPH does not officially offer Hyflex courses at this time, there are certain students that may benefit from this option. A Hyflex course design model takes the best components of the hybrid learning model, and offers a flexible course structure. Students get the option to attend synchronous sessions in-person, online, or a mix of both depending on their need or preference. Hyflex courses have a robust online component to their coursework which supports learning goals. Faculty may choose to attend synchronous sessions remotely, in-person, or a mix of the two, depending on their availability and the activities planned.
